love it and she holding a fish doesn't seem at all odd to me, the flower and the leaves frames the pic very well

I feel like playing with mud, gardening seems to be a good option. You definitely are a witch, how else would you dig out a fish from the garden. :)
(P.S, just kidding :) )

My dear Mita. First of all, THERE IS AN ARTIST WITHIN YOU. No question about it, no matter if you don't think that way.

Tell me something: how much of your dreams is in your illustrations (and by dreams i mean the things you dream when you are asleep, not the things you imagine).

Don't worry, my boss doesn't read blogs, he barely know how to start the computer...

I'm just 3 days away to be flying over the Andes to the north of the continent. My brothers and some of my friends are going to pick me up in the airport and i'm affraid that, beside tacos, we're going to drink a lot of tequila. Well, that's the mexican style of saying "welcome back".

See you soon

As I told you yesterday, this drawing has magic colors, and really, more it goes, more your works are beautifuler.

There's a flagrant evolution in the richness of your textures and a real style confirmation. And concerning your self-theme interpreting the given theme, it's excellent, like always.

Concerning this "muddy" one, I think you've been very well inspired, adding here and there several marks and spots on the patterns, contributing to give this result seeming heated by the time.

All of that is highlighting your choice of the central fish, so huge here with its human eyes, strengthening a delightful poetic strangeness.

I really love, My! And all my encouragements are with you for the next ones!

You rule you know ;)

Mita Mita Mita. In a brief text, you left me thinking. First of all i like the way you write and i like the way you answer my question. I have to admit that i felt a little scared about the ghosts (i think i saw them!). Tell me something: you are a good, or a bad witch. You like daylight ghosts? Or nocturnal.

About the "topoi". That word is the same as "topic", and i wrote about how i hate the topics (i don't remember if in english it have the same meaning as in spanish). In spanish means "common place", "cliché".

And you have to try tacos!!!! You have two options (i have the theory that there are only two options in every crossroad of life, not three, not four, only two): go out to the streets of Indonesia searching for a mexican restaurant and hoping that they do a good taco, or come to Mexico one of these days and i take you to eat the best tacos that you can ever eat in your life.

Speeking of tacos, i'm hungry. But in this case, considering that i am in Argentina, i'm going to eat a few "empanadas", they're very tasty too!!!

I'll write you tomorrow dear Mita

I LOVE this young woman's coat..can I have one? And how she holds the fish is just perfect..to have the linework hands set upon the painted fish brings a lovely depth to the piece. You, my dear, have this great ability to story-tell with your art and words...what a gift you have!

Maybe my sweet "sad" girl has a bit of your spirit within? She is on the exterior a bit sad, but mostly thoughtful and strong. This sadness is a mere dip in her life..at least that's how I like to perceive her. I know you are just soaring with strength..look at your art, it speaks loudly of your strength. Hugs to you!

Psst..hello dahling, visit my page when you get a moment, I have something for you :)

Well my dear Mita, you don't look like a bad witch at all.

About those tacos, you know that destiny moves in mysterious ways, one of those ways can lead you to México so we can get together to eat delicious mexican food while you make me laugh with all that funny and clever things you say. Who knows...

I have all prepared for the trip. But unfortunately i'm having headaches since yesterday i don't know why. It's a strange pain only in the middle of my head, like a migraine.

Pretty Mita, never say that you are stupid because you're not ok?

My next writing for you will be from Mexico! Wuth the picture of the tacos of course.

Take care Mita. Write you soon.

in july yesteryear a beautiful hawfinch struck on the windowpane left ajar reflecting the wide blueness and the clouds floating by. I was gardening then - kind of lost examining the colours and shapes. and there was the bird. deceived. warm and soft like a morning pillow. filled in my palm. she was so so beautiful. i chose the lavender for her to be buried under.
