NO NO NO
i am the ugly cat
and you are the pretty mouse
We shall go to the forest together
to visit the flora and fauna
we shall return filled with joy
after witnessing the forest life
No skinning aloud
only the newborn love
between us

Ja Ja, I loved it!
You are using some details and characters. of humor. Of drawn humor. You understand me?
And that's good. I suppose that an artist can go from humorous drawings to painting, but not the other way. That gives a great advantage. The irreverence of the cartoonist, is not easily acquired by a "serious artist." Well done!

heyyy this is perfect for sneaky :)
The faces are very funny, the cat has a romantic look and the mouse has a distance vibe, as if she's a rich girl that's not interested haha.
And I love those red shoes in her little feet...I think it's gonna be a real problem trying to run away in those once the cat decides to show its real nature...she'll have to take them off but she doesn't seem like the kind of girl that prefers her safety over her beauty so who knows?

Hi Mita!

Beautiful! I love the concept, the idea that everyone should accept and embrace the differences, acknowledging the fact that it's the differences that make the world special. I have an image in my head with a similar concept for a while now: I want to do a Little Red Riding Hood where the girl and the wolf become best friends :)

I'm sorry if I got carried away with all those links in your previous post. I really love Sintra and I try to promote it as much as I can. Sometimes I forget that not everybody is as crazy as I am.
About the songs... It's a Portuguese music gender called Fado - the word fado means Fate. Several Fado songs (especially the sad ones) speak of the sea (one of the songs I sent you is called The Song of the Sea) . We Portuguese - specially here in Lisbon, the city where I live - have a strong connection to the sea because Lisbon has always been a maritime harbor. Many songs speak of how the man would go to the see for months and the woman would wait for them, praying everyday that the sea would return their husbands, sons, fathers safe and sound to them. They speak of all the lives that were lost, and speak of the struggle and the day to day life of the poor.

Really loves this illustration ;)

Kiss

Yes, yes, we will dance in the forest and play in the fields, but the only coat we shall wear will be love. **kisskiss** Deb

Well, I've seen some beautiful women who have left their beards grow and become even more beautiful. But the problem started when I wanted to kiss them. Even closing my eyes I felt like I was kissing my cousin, or friend (or my aunt). Well, maybe you can be even more beautiful with a beard ... but it is a risk. I know that your ideas were provocative, but never thought you'd get that far, ha ha! (Perhaps looking at the glass onion, today you can see yourself) look this---->♥ ja ja!!!!

Roberto said...

Ah ... I'm sorry for having made you shed a few tears. really was not my intention. I would think that not have been by sorrow
