Poor chicken! Who's going to take care of him now? Where's Mummy (and who is she)?
Well, here's something more pleasant, connected with Audrey Hepburn. I remember that you like her... http://surlalunefairytales.blogspot.com/2011/01/audrey-hepburns-enchanted-tales.html

Enjoy it!

I like the monotonous tone, blends well with the line in black.

Nekocherry said...

Well, beautiful. It is time for me as well to put my head on paper!

PG said...

I always like the opposite faced.
Painful situation, mutilation / nest, generation of life
Arabesques ancient / modern design
added to some absurd, and looks opposite, and a share of humor. chicken with sweater, I consider it as humor, not absurd.
A new good creative work.:)

Do you ever draw a dog for me?

Yes life is sometimes painful..The thing is just as you show with the the hacket in his hand. We do it to our self sometimes, cut our own legs off just so we can fall on our butt..

The nest with the little bird on top is a bit of happiness for the one who suffers, love that ♥
It's interesting to see this time the chicken did it for himself ( is a he right? nice sweater :))istead of leaving it to the cook. He shows initiative...probably knows the end is close no matter what so he wants to be brave instead of act like a chicken? He has some Hemingway in him :D

Ana said...

I loved the poem of the creatures :)

It almost is the sky"

Heh Mita, the legs made me laugh - am I sick? So the shoe (axe) is on the other foot (hand) eh? Your mind is wonderfully obtuse. You must have some splendiferous neural connections.

see you

That Argyle sweater ROCKS Mita! I guess the chicken dance is out of the question :o) I can hear mama hen now... “I told you not to play with axes... now look what you’ve done! Wait till your father gets home mister!” Your dark sense of humor and your wonderful detailed illustrations are a perfect combination my dear little witch! Hope 2011 is a great year for you!!!

Oh, no, I am a difficult dog!
I like going out at night.
sometimes I have bad humor (especially when I can not find a tree)
And I love eating.
I think that between you and me there is irreconcilable differences.
You better put your eyes on another dog.
Maybe a Yorkshire.

Well, to be a Masterchef, one must know how to cook, which I am very far from knowing.

Hey if you would be interested in me sketching your portrait send me a high res pic of yourself you like. Can't promise when it will be done, and if it will even look like you lol, but will give it a go if you want?

Good morning Miss Lakhsmita.
I come to apologize and ask forgiveness, for that dog of mine named Tino, when I'm sleeping at night, he turn on my computer, and he starts to go through the blogs of my friends.
I have seen him, from my blog, left comments here, even changing my profile picture, a picture of him.
He thinks he is a gallant cheap novel, television, or Hollywood, and he wants all the girls love. First he called himself Brad Tino, then he was Tino Clooney, Tino Banderas etc. etc. and now has a regression and calls himself James Tino Dean.
I think he's that kind of dog that has no problem in letting a lady with a broken heart. because he is running behind other skirts

So, Miss Lakhsmita, I ask again apologize and I hope this never happens again.
My face is red at the thought that he may come back to bother.
I really am sorry

My L°vely,

Yes of course I understand.
And you know that I did the same as we are the same, moon runners, body kissers, sleepless walkers in a land of faeries & death.

As you know and texted you, today is a very special day. I come to meet you to wish you a very very birthday, with a day that will be full of great things with Bunny, Kammy...

And maybe the family? I dunno. If youu're in BDG or JKT, I dunno.

Three years of conexions and a ton of exchanges between us. At your turn to be a thristy now. And three years of shared times and birthdays, at few days of interval.

I kiss you. And you know where.

Love <3

The best part of looking at your work is scrolling down the page. The top is so beautiful and benign, then you get down to the quirk that makes it always so interesting. And who doesn't love a rooster in a sweater?

How are you?
