very nice, I do like your style. Your imagination is fantastic. keep up the great work

Yes, baby! I will ride on a bike. In fact, I ride a bike to work, on the freeway, with my Harley boots, Vroom Vroom! Wake up! wake up!

Okay, that was when I was 21 years old. Now I ride a minivan with wheelchair access. Sigh.

Now where are my dentures? Dang it! I can't see...

Oh yes, a carousel would be nice. Except I will get dizzy and vomit. Hmn. I did not know I had an apple for lunch!

Good morning beautiful queen. I must toil in the rice fields for yet another day so I can feed my twelve children and five husbands.

Have a good day!

TSUP!

Oooooh Pretty Mita! I love her dress and her fan and the carrousel! I love it all! It's so delicate and the colors are spot on! You are so talented :D. Your imagination amazes me with every piece of art you create!

Hope you're well! The weather is lovely here, I'm working a lot but I try to enjoy the weather as much as I can!

Big hugs to you!! Xoxoxoxo

I didn't learn to ride a bicycle as a child, so I won't miss your proposal now to fly in the sky with the joyful music of the merry-go-round. With you! To leave for a while MY world, in order to discover the World in the past...
Your painting wears the atmosphere of Mary Poppins's books! I like the vintage look of the carousel, the sewn hills, the strange silent faces - everything looks is tempting! I hope your soul feels free, Mita!:)

rossichka said...

... everything looks SO tempting...

Gorgeous. Always a treat to pop by!

I've been riding bikes with you for about three weeks. You've been so good about not bringing up the world. While it diminishes in the distance, it occasionally comes back in a painful instant and rears it's ugly head. And we just laugh [but pedal a little faster].

No apologies necessary.

martinealison said...

I'm glad you stopped by, and even more glad that you're not that obsessed anymore, (if in fact that's the truth).
I remember when I obsessed about my first girlfriend, after she had grown tired of my nonsense and gave me the gate. I had visions of her and her car burned into my retinas for months, because I was always looking for those two things wherever I went. But the strangest thing happened: your body lets you know when it's had enough of obsessing, and I can remember the exact moment when I suddenly didn't care anymore. It was a revelation, and the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders like a bird taking flight, and I was free again. Falling in love is a biochemical change, and something we have no control over. Only time heals.

Sorry, I'm still funny, just had to tell you that.

Ted Blackman said...

I told myself months ago that I wouldn't follow you till I was number 475, and now it's done. I like that number.

Shall we follow each other??

Believe only in yourself!
Not everyone has talent, and you have it.
I've told you so many times.
the intention is what makes what you do is art.
the intention is born in your head, your hand shows us your talent.
I enlarged the image especially to see what you put behind the material, I guess it's a bird, never mind. there is the artistic intensón.
This detail is one that shows your talent. beyond all the work in general. Do You Understand my idea?
Pint. Pint. Pint, more and more ..
If you do not paint, you do not grow.
Beautiful. You should not be tired of doing the right thing.
(I've left comments on all your previous post.)
See you soon.

Let's see if this is understood?
(I think I will return to write in two languages this is too much work for me)

I was in a cage, trying to remember that sky.
I was not desperate to find him, no, but I would have liked to see both again.
It was so blue. With a cloud very white. Maybe a sky without a cloud is never sky.
I believe that I had seen sometime in the 70 ... Let's see ...? October 1971 ... I can not remember ... May 1970 ...?
I do not care. Now I was in a cage trying to remember that sky. I tried many times to see him again. But those years did not come to my head. The years that passed never return when you're in a cage trying to remember a sky of the 70.
You'll see. You will. There is a day in your life that you try to remember the sky, and you see that escapes into a balloon which was released in a hand.
I'll get used to not matter too much, in your eyes is immense skies.
Puf!!!!
