This is the first octopus I wouldn't be afraid to encounter ~ he is a beautiful octopus with friendly eyes (although they seem a little sad). I love the monkeys on the hot air balloon. I would like to take a trip into your imagination.

This is really cool, one of my favorites. I had a fever nightmare when I was a kid about an octopus coming at me with a flashlight. He looked like this guy. But I don't care, this is a truly bitchen piece, Mita.

Your illustrations are so deep...one just can guess the hidden meaning in the shape of the octopus´eyes.
The waves are rather Minoan.... like them!
This is nice! I like the combination of the octopus and the balloon, that rhymes :-)
Mita .... the sadness in those eyes.... a picture as a needle that weaves a thousand words ... the resonance is poetic ... there is hope, then there is none, the patterns are like stars, the moon is like the eyes, and those roman wave tiles are visual palindromes - bet you never knew that

what i saw when i closed my eyes, no, what i saw when i opened my eyes: a (slightly) different palette with more luminous and bright colors. There must be a reason for ..... new challenges , perhaps .....or new insights.......
I like the lowest part of you image, the waves: the whole scene looks quite inconspicuous but underneath, in the deepest ink blue waves is some danger waiting....

For the third time this Autumn I have a cold, and I'm tired of having sore throat.
It is dark and stormy outside, and I have lot to do inside, so blogging has had a law priority lately.

You have made a wonderful illustration to a text that made me recall the last news. Two young men (25 and 28) have been washed to sea by a rogue wave while they filmed a spectacular natural scene for a new Norwegian feature film. They're still not found.

Mita, this is absolutely wonderful! And I love octopuses nearly as much as birds. Yes, it's been a while, but I had to take a bit of a social media break for my own good. That's how it gooooo-ooooo-oooooooes.
