I don't have much to say today my dearest Mita. Just that I love you and miss you. Yes, a broken heart canvas is perfect these days. I shall draw and paint on a broken canvas and board this weekend. Thank you. The clouds are rather gray outside. I have not the strength to capture it. I have never felt such sorrow.

Your family and mine. We love them so much and we are so far away.

R083R70 said...

Thanks, but I'm nobody, so you say that.
I am proud that you say that, but you should not be interested, if I like or dislike, I do not exist.
you just draw and paint. I'll close my mouth to not bother
:)

Dearest Mita, I hope you feel better soon. I missed you terribly. However, these bouts of un-wellness bring out the genius in you. I did not know there are canvases of broken hearts. How perfect is that for your sensitive soul and mine. I just sent an order for ten and a huge Bristol Board with a giant gashed heart. You liberate me and make me honest. Thank you very much. Now be well because we have many beautiful and honest pictures to paint, still and many grey skies and clouds to wish upon. I love you,

I know you love your family very much. I just knew that. I hope they are well. Tsup!

Heisann Mita!

I tried to reach you in the air where the dragonfly fly, above the sea where the fish swim, on my way home from Madeira last Saturday, but did not succeed.
Just like your "wonderful ones".

I am fine, but busy, more busy than I like. I do not get the IF's topics on my e-mail any more. May be that's a sign. I need a pause from making the illustrations. BUT I am coming back stronger within some weeks or months. In between we keep in touch.
Wish you some lovely days during the next week ;:OD) Spring is here!!!!!

Hey hiya Mita

:) Hmm, it's hard to say something about a wonderful work like this. You know, when you sense that a work comes straight from the heart, when a work evokes such thoughts that become other images themselves. In this case words are just the wrong thing; words put images in boxes, confine them, classify them, and smother them.

That said, this is a ripper image :)

I think you are tapping into the Ether World while the rest of just stare into the sky with wonder.

see you with hugs and bells on :)

Andrew Finnie said...

Ps the canvas and the acrylic are growing so well the texture adds another dimension, makes it mysterious in places,

The Dragon-fly

By Alfred Lord Tennyson

Today I saw the dragon-fly

Come from the wells where he did lie.

An inner impulse rent the veil

Of his old husk: from head to tail

Came out clear plates of sapphire mail.

He dried his wings: like gauze they grew;

Thro’ crofts and pastures wet with dew

A living flash of light he flew.

Well look at you Mita...acrylic artistic genius. What a sweet piece. I hope it is not you with a broken heart.

I added you as a contact on flickr. I loved seeing all your work in one place...your paintings are even more magical when they are together like that. You have a gift with color and story telling.

Big hugs for you all the way from Kansas. Go Toto. Go Dorothy.
