Mother

                                                          You have said
                                                                    all the things
                                                                    i need to hear
                                                                    before i knew
                                                                    i needed to hear them

                                                          To be unafraid
                                                                    of all the things
                                                                    i use to fear
                                                                    before i knew
                                                                    i shouldn't fear them.

A Thank You Note, a poem by Lang Leav and a drawing of my late mother (and me)
――she loved gardening so much.

i am no expert no skill, but this drawing means a lot to me
at this point, i’d be pleased if you would even just tolerate me, thank you

Oh Mita, dearest! There is so much love in this portrait. Your devotion to your mother is evident in every delicate and tender lines. Your sentiment and your portrait are both beautiful. You are as beautiful as your mother. Take care dearest Mita. Tsup!

You are beautiful like your mother! I see she has taught you to fly, but you have more to learn as time passes by, so that your wings become big and strong like hers! I like the composition - although the waves, the atmsophere is calm, because you are together with Mum! I like the inner harmony... Wonderful drawing, Mita!

Be happy!

Oh Mita, I have missed SO much! Upon landing here, I immediately was aware of how much I have missed YOU. This is so beautiful, the drawing, the words, the love. Did you lose you Mother recently? I am so very sorry. You are much too young to be left. I recently lost my Mother, and even though I am an old woman, the loss effects me every day in my thoughts.

You say you have no skill; Little One, you are a jewel ♥

Hola,
Saludos
Lorena

I think it's the most beautiful artwork I've seen from your blog Mita... being an expert, skills...that's just time and practice, anyone can achieve that, but not anyone can draw from the heart like you do. It's like you put part of your soul in your work, specially in a piece like this one. That's a million times better.
I send you a hug.

Sweet Mita,
So nice to hear from you. I have missed you and I am sorry I have not been around. Much has been going on in my life. My mother had a stroke and my husband had an accident - broke 2 ribs and deflated his lung. I have been caring for him and running to see Mom at the Rehab/Nursing Care Center. Little time for much else.
I am fine, other than busy. I hope you are well, Mita. Your lovely drawing of your Mother and you is beautiful.
I think of you often and one day hope to get back to reading blogs and sending notes to those people I care about, like you. I know you understand.
Love is being sent to you over the sea... xxoo

MITA!!! This is so incredibly beautiful! They are so soulful and the colors are lovely. You do have skill dear and your work is deeply emotional. I love it so. Thank you so much for the Mother's Day wishes. I really appreciate it. My Mother's Day was good until my grandson fell at the park and broke his arm. :( It will now be memorable for a sad reason. (((HUGS)))
